What does Coaching look like?
Coaching is a relationship that offers you:
A partner in the journey who will encourage and challenge you during times of current or imminent change.
An intentional time and space set aside for the vulnerability and reflection needed to make necessary changes in your vocation, relationships, goals, and life.
Practices for identifying your goals and working with internal and external barriers.
Support in maintaining healthy and good boundaries.
Guidance in honing your gifts and skills.
Wisdom as you navigate the challenges and joys of working in your community and context.
Accountability to your goals and plans, and
A safe place to bounce ideas, wonders, and hope within.
Three types of coaching sessions
-
Individual Coaching
Individual coaching is a highly personalized one-on-one partnership between Ginny and you. Together we will work to co-create an action plan for the future, with Ginny asking powerful questions and you deciding what you want to achieve. Such a close partnership allows for a strong bond and a concentrated ability for you to grow and change. There’s many great things about one-on-one coaching, including highly personalized support and strong confidentiality.
-
Team Coaching
Team coaching is about helping a group of people to learn how to work together as a single unit towards a common goal. Teams that participate in being coached become unified around common goals, will deal with changes better, will listen and learn from one another in a safe setting, will work through conflict in a healthy way, and increase over all participation both in work and community building.
-
Group Coaching
Group coaching is a bit different and involves a coach working with a group of individuals together, at the same time. Each person in the group has their own goals, but they're working towards them within a group setting – often because this group of people has a similar ultimate goal. The process of working together in a group helps individuals learn from their peers, get different perspectives and share experiences. A strong group can create a powerful community with plenty of growth and transformation.
