Hi, I’m Ginny Wilder.
Our coaching journey begins when we realize we haven’t tried everything yet. I am grateful to try something new with you and see where it leads us in this journey.
I am an ordained Episcopal priest serving in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I was ordained in 2012 at Old Swedes Episcopal Church in Wilmington, Delaware. I graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in May of 2012.
Prior to seminary, I received an MS in Human Resource Management and Development from Western Carolina University and worked as a Training and Development Manager at Biltmore Estate for 10 years. Part of my work at Biltmore was career pathing with our employees to help match their skills and abilities with job openings in our company. The best part of my job was getting to know each employee and discovering what brought them joy and how to make their vocation one of joy and satisfaction.
My ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential through the ICF (International Coaching Federation) is in process and I am approved to work with you during this waiting period. I have been an active mentor for over 20 years across many fields and vocations, and I look forward to journeying with you as we lean into the pause.
I love the process of wondering together, seeking a connection between where we are and where we want to be, and how coaching helps bridge the gap. Coaching is for anyone who is looking to make a difference in their daily vocational life- clergy included.
Whatever was stirred within you to seek out a coach, please pay attention to that inkling. If not me, then please seek someone who can walk with you. Your vocation and your spirit are worth the investment of your time.
My Approach
As your coach, I will listen deeply, ask questions that invite reflection, and offer accountability for the goals you set. There are many models and approaches I can use as your coach that will help bring to light both the concern and the next steps you need to take.
